PrePlanning for Cremation

A recent study undertaken by an independent research group revealed that an increasing percentage of people now pre-arrange their own furneral requirements.

Over one-third of those who preferred pre-arrangement had already undertaken the process, and more than one-half of those remaining said they were likely to do so within the next five years.

Pre-arranging your funeral now means all arrangements will reflect your personal lifestyle, customs and beliefs. When partnered with pre-payment, it can lessen the financial burden that often falls to family or friends, and helps ease the worry and emotional upheaval those close to you must bear during times of loss.

Because pre-arranged and pre-paid services are protected under the Funeral Directors and Establishments Act in Ontario, all monies received for this service must be deposited in a bank, trust company, credit union or fraternal society and held in trust for you. The principal and all interest remain on deposit until the time of death to cover the inevitable increases in costs. Excess funds will be refunded to your estate. If you change your mind and wish to withdraw the funds, the principal and interest will be refunded, although some establishments may elect to charge an administration fee of up to $350.00

Let your family know that you care; record your final arrangements by contacting Just Cremation And Burial.
